The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

In 2005 my wife and I moved from Pennsylvania to Harpers Ferry, WV. I completed schooling to become an auctioneer and opened my own auction company, The Sholley Auction Works. I currently concentrate on working mostly auto auctions, but have joined with Nevin Rentzel of York, PA to conduct personal property and real estate auctions. Also in 2005 my wife and I began restoration on our old farm house. As luck would have it, it turned out to be a much larger project than expected. After completely gutting the house I am happy to say that we almost have it put back together. For fun I am an engineer for the Strasburg Railroad in Strasburg, PA and an engineer/fireman for the East Broad Top RR in Orbisonia, PA. One of my duties with the Strasburg RR includes being one of the engineers for a full size, live steam "Thomas the Tank Engine." My two nieces think that is really cool! My wife, Sonya, and I thank God every day for the blessings He has given us and I hope the rest of my fellow Penn State Alumni are doing well!
